Science Lesson

We went to the park today and found this when we got there! This tree was struck by lightning in the storms yesterday morning. It had pieces of bark that flew off of it and out about 40 feet! It was pretty amazing and the kids enjoyed exploring around it. They even found a little toad and named him "Barky" since they found him by the bark. :) It was a great science lesson!
