Construction

Last year, we put in an egress window and a closet in Addy's room and this year we're adding them in Creighton's room. The closet is going in now and the window will go in this summer. Construction began on Monday and is still in progress. Nate and his Dad are doing all the work themselves! They have been working super hard and it is looking great!

The other side of the closet is our storage area, so we're re-doing that at the same time. We'll be putting up shelving and a cupboard in there. We have re-organized most of the stuff that was in storage (mostly kids clothes/shoes/toys) into plastic totes. I'm so excited to have it organized in there!!! Below are some "before" pictures.

Storage room side. That space had big shelves in there that were overloaded with junk in a very unorganized fashion. I didn't get a picture before Nate pulled out all the stuff and took the shelves out!

Tyson has been down there with the guy a LOT! He is wearing his toolbelt and working right along with them! Here he is taking a break to do some school work. He couldn't take his belt off because he had to get "right back to work". :)
